Abstract Submission

The conference is calling for high-quality and original research or case studies about the following topics:

  • Zero liquid discharge
  • Resource recovery
  • Removal of recalcitrants and metals
  • Pre-membrane treatment
  • Cooling water
  • Smart management
  • Water policies
  • Water energy nexus
  • Best practice examples
Submission Guidelines

Authors are requested to electronically submit an extended 2-page abstract before April 15, 2021 for considering as poster or oral presentations. Abstracts must be in English and clearly define the objectives, methodology, findings and significance of the investigation or study.

If your submission is accepted for an oral presentation, you may submit a properly formatted full paper that will be subsequently peer reviewed for publication in one of the IWA Publishing journals: Water Science and Technology, Water Science and Technology: Water Supply, or Water, Practice and Technology. Specifications for the formatting of papers are available on the IWAP website https://iwaponline.com/pages/Instructions_for_authors

Editors of the journal will make the final decision on publication and papers may be subject to further revision.

All accepted extended abstract will be included in the conference proceedings.

Each author can submit up to 2 abstracts as presenting or corresponding author. Presenting author of the abstracts (accepted for oral and poster presentations) must be registered as the conference participant. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the final conference program and the abstract may be automatically withdrawn from the conference program book.
