Abstract Submission

The conference is calling for high-quality and original research or case studies about the following topics:

  • Removal of recalcitrants and metals
  • Pre-membrane treatment

  • Smart management
  • Water policies
  • Water energy nexus
  • Best practice examples
Submission Guidelines

Authors are requested to electronically submit an extended 2-page abstract before April 30, 2024 for considering as poster or oral presentations. Abstracts must be in English and clearly define the objectives, methodology, findings and significance of the investigation or study.

If your submission is accepted for an oral presentation, you may submit a properly formatted full paper that will be subsequently peer reviewed for publication in one of the IWA Publishing journals: Water Science and Technology, Water Science and Technology: Water Supply, or Water, Practice and Technology. Specifications for the formatting of papers are available on the IWAP website https://iwaponline.com/pages/Instructions_for_authors

Editors of the journal will make the final decision on publication and papers may be subject to further revision.

All accepted extended abstract will be included in the conference proceedings.

Maximum number of papers per author: The authors can submit as many abstracts as they wish but one author will be allowed to present ONLY one paper and one poster on stage. Additional papers or posters must be presented by other co-authors.
